Anotácia Trestné právo Ruskej federácie, hoci je vo viacerých aspektoch podobné tomu Slovenskému (z dôvodu medzinárodných štandardov, ale aj historických súvislostí), určitú špecifickú odlišnosť možno pozorovať najmä pokiaľ ide o jeho systém, ako aj pri výkone väzby a trestu odňatia slobody, predovšetkým pokiaľ ide o zariadenia, v ktorých sa tieto represívne opatrenia vykonávajú. Cieľom článku je priblížiť čitateľovi trestné právo a výkon väzby a trestu odňatia slobody v Ruskej federácii s dôrazom na historickú podobnosť s výkonom trestnoprávnych sankcií v Sovietskom zväze a reformy, ktorými Ruské väzenstvo prešlo ako aj na kritiku medzinárodného spoločenstva v oblasti ľudských práv. Annotation The criminal law of the Russian Federation, although it is similar in several aspects to Slovakia (due to international standards but also historical context), some specific differences can be observed especially in its system, as well as in the execution of custody and imprisonment, especially in about the facilities in which the repressive measures are carried out. The aim of the article is to bring the reader closer to criminal law and the execution of custody and imprisonment in the Russian Federation, emphasizing the historical similarity with the execution of criminal sanctions in the Soviet Union and there forms the Russian prison system has undergone, as well as criticism of the international human rights community.
