Annotation This paper analyses the potential decisions to be made in order to improve the efficiency of archives management (either state or local Government based versions). The conclusion of the paper is that a central, hierarchical management system with territorial units is a better option than a decentralized institutional solution, since the central management could provide the same conditions and unified directions to the professional and functional (budgetary, maintenance and coordination work) staff. However, with the territorial units, the organizations of the archives could even support the local particularities to be achied.

Abstrakt Literatúra o rómskom práve v našich pomeroch takmer neexistuje, napriek tomu, že ide o tradičný právny systém, ktorý existuje uprostred západného sveta, paralelne s právom toho-ktorého štátu. V každej kultúre existuje nepísaný zákon – príkazy a zákazy, ktoré sú chápané a odovzdávané ďalej. Predložený článok sa venuje stretu folklóru a jurisprudencie, skúma historický význam a dôsledky tradičného rómskeho práva, jeho pretrvávajúci vplyv na celom svete a konflikty, ktoré vznikajú, keď sa nepísané právo komunity líši od zákonov štátu. Abstract The literature on Roma law is almost non-existent in our circumstances, despite the fact that this traditional legal system that exists amidst the Western world, in parallel with state laws. There is an unwritten law in every culture – commands and prohibitions that are understood and passed on to future generations. The present article deals with the clash of folklore and jurisprudence, examines the historical significance and implications of traditional Romani law, its enduring impact on the world, and the conflicts that arise when unwritten law differs from state law.
