Recodification of the Civil Code as an opportunity for the business environment. The article is devoted to the draft Civil Code from the perspective of creating a legal framework for entrepreneurial activity as a legal and political goal of the recodification of private law. Attention is paid to the questions of how the needs of entrepreneurs have changed in relation to the private law framework of entrepreneurship in more than 15 years since the elaboration of the legislative intention of the Civil Code and what impacts the legislative process on entrepreneurs has on the draft Civil Code in the absence of parallel elaboration of the directly affected legal regulation of commercial companies. In the specifics of the draft Civil Code, the article draws attention to the adoption of the concepts of entrepreneurship and entrepreneur, a new definition of the subject of civil law relations in relation to the issue of the application of the legal regulation of property rights to legal objects other than things.
